My uncle, Toes (Sharkie's sister and maid of honor), Sharkie, and my aunt
Of course, no wedding is complete without a bridal shower, so all of Sharkie’s close girlfriends and the gals on Sharkie’s dad’s and our sides of the family gathered at my aunt and uncle’s house for a fun, estrogen-filled time! Shweetie was also in attendance as the official photographer. My aunt wanted nice photos of the shower to include in Sharkie’s wedding album, since we will not be attending the actual wedding ceremony. Cousins Mooga and Traveler planned out all the games and a group gift from our family, and did an awesome job!

After a filling lunch catered by Macaroni Grill, we got down to the most hilarious part, the games. In one we had to answer questions about Sharkie, in another we had to answer questions about the couple, and in another we had to unscramble wedding related words. I won the scramble game, as I was the only person to finish all 20 words, and I actually finished before the three minutes was up!

I win! Muahahahahahahah!
The most amusing game was the purse game, where several items were named from a list, and we were given points for each item we had in our purses. My point total was pathetic, as I had cleaned out my purse that morning, but it was really funny seeing what people had in their purses (like Ziploc bags full of quarters). Mooga was pleased when “business cards” were named, and I whipped out my Melinda Mae business cards!

How heavy must this lady's purse be?!
After the games, Sharkie opened all of her gifts. She got lots of lingerie, money, and household items, and a framed picture her mom cross-stitched for her, with her and her betrothed’s names on it, along with their wedding date. She also seemed amused by the book Traveler had compiled, which had plenty of cute and incriminating photos of her, along with heartfelt messages from our extended family in it.

Traveler also had us write life and marriage advice to Sharkie, which she strung together so that Sharkie can hang it across her room.

Afterward, we all went a little crazy getting photographed in their beautiful backyard.
